The ERMA (European Raw Materials Alliance) Booster Call, managed by EIT Raw Materials, is a funding initiative for startups, scale-ups, SMEs, and large mining, processing, and recycling projects in the raw materials sector.
The call aims to strengthen Europe’s raw materials supply chain, support the EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA) targets, and accelerate the green, circular, and digital economy.
Strategic Objectives
- Contribute to the EU’s CRMA goals: extract 10%, process 40%, and recycle 25% of the EU’s annual strategic raw materials consumption by 2030.
- Reduce dependency on single third-country suppliers to below 65% at any supply chain stage.
