This October, Strata team visited the beautiful city of Seville to spend some time together and reflect on the lessons learned this year.
Although we hold regular meetings quite often, most of our colleagues live abroad, so it is difficult to coincide and meet on site regularly. This trip was the best opportunity to see each other face to face and share thoughts and experiences in a more relaxed way.
We reached very inspirational and positive conclusions, but we especially would like to highlight the importance of making mistakes and learning from them. No matter your age, you will never have all the answers. And there is no need to!
Experience is built on errors and mistakes, just like castles are built on stones. The more stones you find in your path, the bigger the castle will be. Therefore, we strongly believe that mistakes should not be seen as something to be ashamed of but as an opportunity to learn and become better.
This team meeting has also been a great opportunity to make plans for the next year, to learn a bit more about each other and to enjoy time together. Activities and events like this one help us to break the routine and think differently as we normally do, to go beyond our daily work and reach deeper conclusions about our mid- and long-term goals.
